How it works

Hub on the PC. Overlays in OBS. Chat in control.

  1. 01

    Run Forge Hub

Free Windows app. Device-code Twitch login. Hub owns EventSub, state, simulate, and licenses.

  2. 02

    Paste into OBS

Copy a localhost Browser Source URL per widget. Hub serves the page and fans events over a local WebSocket.

  3. 03

    Let chat play

Mods arm games. Viewers claim, vote, raid, and flex. Dry-run anything from Hub before you go live.

Lineup

Four finished overlays. Hub is the source of truth.

Overlays render what Hub decides — no silent local mutation, no mystery cloud sync. Each is a one-time purchase, activated in Hub.

Widget 01 · Death counter

Rage Meter

Boss death counter for brutal runs — themes, milestones, hotkey, optional channel-point deaths and a LAN phone button.

Widget 02 · First-chatter race

Podium

First chatters race when the stream comes online. Season ladder with points and streaks. Flex place with !rank.

Widget 03 · Raid ceremony

Raid Cathedral

Incoming raid takeover. Names stack as raiders chat — follows light up. Board the outgoing raid with a mod countdown.

Widget 04 · Chat vs chat

TUG

Chat picks a side. One vote each. Roughly a minute of pull — arm from Hub or !tug.

Community store

Install overlays the community made.

Browse and install user-made widgets right inside Forge Hub. They’re sandboxed manifest widgets — data, not code — so nothing a stranger wrote ever runs in your OBS. Copy the URL, done.

Forge Hub

The free app under every overlay.

Auth, EventSub, persistence, simulate, licensing, tray, hotkeys — all local. Widgets only paint what Hub decides.

  • Device-code Twitch login — no password ever typed into the app
  • Localhost Browser Source URLs for OBS and Streamlabs
  • Etsy / Gumroad purchase activation, licenses verified locally
  • Simulate every widget before going live
  • LAN death remote for Rage Meter

FAQ

Questions streamers actually ask.

Does it work with Streamlabs Desktop?

Yes. Widgets are standard Browser Sources — anything that can load a localhost URL works, including OBS Studio and Streamlabs Desktop.

What happens if Forge Hub is closed?

Overlays go quiet — they fail silent on the canvas rather than spamming errors into your stream. Keep Hub running while you’re live; it reconnects widgets automatically.

Is there a subscription?

No. Forge Hub is free. Widgets are one-time purchases that keep working — there’s no cloud runtime to pay for, because there is no cloud runtime at all.

How does activation work?

Buy on Etsy or Gumroad, then paste your receipt or license key into Hub once. Licenses are tied to your Twitch account and allow up to three device activations per widget.

Will it slow down my streaming PC?

The widgets are lightweight canvas overlays with a quality ladder for weaker machines — Rage Meter can drop particle counts and frame rates without changing how it looks at a glance.

Kick? Mac? YouTube?

Twitch on Windows is the launch target. The event schema was designed so other platforms can plug in later, but we’d rather ship four great widgets than ten half-connected ones.
